Michael Heinze studied law at the Rheinische Friedrichs-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and at the University of Cologne and completed his Master of Law (LL.M.) in Real Estate at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. He gained international experience during a stint at the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in India. After being admitted to the bar in 2014, he began working for a renowned, internationally active commercial law firm, where he worked until September 2019. Michael Heinze has been awarded the title “Specialist Lawyer for Commercial and Corporate Law” by the Cologne Bar Association.

The focus of his legal activities is on the areas of commercial and corporate law on the one hand and real estate law as well as commercial tenancy and lease law on the other.

Michael Heinze regularly lectures and publishes in the areas of law in which he specializes. He is a member of the German Bar Association (DAV) and the German-American Lawyers Association (DAJV).
